Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and BEIZ Studio, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"), the operator of QR Service. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
QR Service creates dynamic QR codes and short links. A printed code points to a short address on our service, and we redirect every scan to the destination you have set. You can change that destination at any time without reprinting the code. The service also provides scan analytics, a QR design editor, link-in-bio pages, team access and a REST API. Every feature is available to every account.
2. Your account
You need an account to create codes. Give us a working email address, keep your password and API keys confidential, and invite colleagues through team access rather than sharing a login. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the destinations your codes point to. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account.
3. Free of charge
QR Service is provided free of charge. There is no trial period and we never ask for card details. Because the service is free, it comes without a service-level agreement and without guaranteed support response times; we answer support requests on a best-effort basis.
4. Fair-use limits
To keep the shared infrastructure fast for everyone, each team may hold up to 1,000 active QR codes and up to 25 members. Archived and deleted codes do not count towards the limit. We may also rate-limit automated access through the REST API. If you have a legitimate need for more, write to hello@beizstudio.com and we will look at it. We may adjust these limits as the service grows and will announce a reduction before it takes effect.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not point codes or pages at phishing, malware, scams, or content that is illegal in your country or in the United Arab Emirates.
- Do not use the service to mislead people about where a code leads, to send spam, or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not try to bypass the fair-use limits, probe or overload the service, enumerate short links, or access data that belongs to other workspaces.
We may pause or disable a code or page, or suspend an account, that breaks these rules or that puts other users or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable we contact you first; for phishing and malware we act immediately.
6. Your content
Your links, pages, designs and analytics remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to operate the service for you. You can export your links at any time and delete your account from Settings in the dashboard.
7. Availability
Printed codes depend on our redirect, so we design the service for continuous operation and keep off-platform backups of every link. We do not, however, promise uninterrupted or error-free operation: maintenance, third-party infrastructure and events outside our control can cause downtime. We are not responsible for the availability or content of the destinations your codes point to.
8. Liability
The service is provided free of charge and "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of the service or from the inability to use it, including indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data and the cost of reprinting materials. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice by email, and keep redirects working during the notice period so you can move your codes.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We announce material changes by email or in the dashboard before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after that date, the new terms apply; if you disagree, you can close your account before it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes that cannot be settled with our support team are subject to the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to another forum.
